Acknowledge how generous others have been with you.
If that generosity fades away, do no blame them for not being as generous as they use to be, but maybe consider that you did not take the challenge and did not reciprocate that generosity. That is the dynamic of generosity: challenging others to be generous, taking the challenge of surpassing the others in their generosity.
It may be, in effect, that the generosity practiced on you by others challenged you to a point of intolerance, in which you couldn't take it anymore. Consider this the starting point of your demise.
